What TypeTable is

TypeTable is a chat assistant that creates and manages structured data tables. You describe what you want to store, and the assistant builds the table, saves records, and answers questions about them. You can also connect external tools to your account over MCP using an API token.

Your account

An account is required. You can register with an email and password, or sign in with Google or Microsoft.

• Provide a valid email address. We use it for verification and password resets.
• Keep your password and API tokens confidential. Activity carried out with your credentials is treated as yours.
• You are responsible for the contents of your account, including data added by people you invite.
• Accounts are for individual use and must not be shared.

If you believe someone else has access to your account, change your password, delete your API tokens in Settings, and contact us.

Your content

You own the tables, records, files, and messages you put into TypeTable. We claim no ownership of them.

We store and process your content only to operate the product: displaying it to you, making it available to the assistant, and sharing it with people you explicitly share it with. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.

Organizations and sharing

Every account is given an organization. You can create others, invite members, and share tables with them.

Anyone you share a table with, and any member of an organization, can see what you have shared. Review who has access before adding sensitive data. Removing a share prevents further access, but does not undo access that has already taken place.

Assistant accuracy

TypeTable is powered by a large language model, and its output is not always correct. It can misinterpret a request, write the wrong record, or summarise your data inaccurately.

• Verify anything you intend to rely on.
• Destructive actions such as deleting a table require confirmation. Read the confirmation before accepting it.
• Do not treat TypeTable as your only copy of data you cannot afford to lose.
• Do not use it where an error would cause serious harm, including medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

Acceptable use

You must not use TypeTable to:

• Store or share unlawful content, or content you have no right to store.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Attack the service, including large-scale scraping, credential guessing, unauthorised security testing, or deliberately overloading it.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or guardrails.
• Resell access or offer the service as your own product.

We may screen messages before they reach the model to enforce these rules and keep the assistant within scope. When a message is blocked, we tell you why.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules, without notice in serious cases.

Availability

TypeTable is provided as-is. We aim to keep it available and working, but we do not guarantee uptime, and we may change or remove features. Where a change would materially affect how you use the service, we will give notice where reasonably possible.

Ending your use

You may stop using TypeTable at any time. Delete your tables and conversations in the application, or contact us to delete your account entirely.

We may close your account if you breach these terms, if we discontinue the service, or where legally required. If we discontinue the service, we will give you notice beforehand.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from your use of TypeTable. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when these terms change and revise the date above. Where a change materially affects you, we will notify you by email or in the application. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
